Job Summary
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to ensure the safest and most effective operation. This role involves working with a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired
- Previous mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
- Valid Red Seal is an asset
- Must be at least a Level 2 Apprentice or higher
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
