Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join our Saskatoon Office. The successful candidate will report directly to our Controller and collaborate closely with our finance and project teams. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting administration, cost reporting, and supervising accounting staff, with opportunities for growth to Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operation of Threeosix's financial department under the guidance of the Controller.
Implement and follow financial policies, systems, and procedures.
Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and cost-benefit analysis and financial management reports.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Train, manage, and mentor the internal accounting team.
Manage AP/AR and job cost accounting.
Coordinate intercompany accounting and prepare financial reports for subsidiary companies.
Oversee the year-end process, including preparation of working paper files.
Maintain the system of internal controls.
Ensure regulatory compliance (GST, PST, WCB, Stats Canada, etc.).
Notify the Controller of critical trends affecting the Company's financial performance.
Qualifications:
CPA Canada designation required.
Five to ten years of accounting experience.
Experience in the construction, fabrication, or mining sectors is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and mathematical skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
