Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our community health team, you will be responsible for supervising designated staff and performing nursing procedures in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the provision of home support services, ensuring high-quality care and effective communication with clients and staff.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the needs of clients, in accordance with competency guidelines and current legislative scope of practice.
  • Contribute to the development and modification of client care plans, attending and providing feedback to interdisciplinary teams.
  • Perform nursing care and procedures, evaluating client outcomes and reporting problems or changes to designated staff.
  • Administer medications at assigned clients, according to established policies and procedures.
  • Respond to general inquiries, providing direction and information about available programs and policies.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff, reviewing applications and participating in interview panels.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school in Practical Nursing.
  • Two years' recent, related clinical and/or supervisory experience in a community health setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
