Material Handler

Carcum Renovators is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move materials and products.
- Read blueprints and instructions to determine dimensions and material requirements.
- Pick orders and stock materials and products.
- Weigh materials and goods to ensure accuracy.
- Make labels and attach them to goods.
- Pack and unpack goods to ensure safe transportation.
- Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner.
- Transport and distribute materials and goods to various locations.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
- Use computerized inventory control systems to track and manage inventory.
- Visually inspect products for quality and damage.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
