Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at SQ1 Edu Group Inc.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators and supervisors in maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, planning activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of the children in our care.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including equipment and supplies.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Assist with mealtime, including preparing and serving food.
  • Help with daily routines, such as dressing and toileting.
  • Observe and record children's progress, sharing observations with educators and supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Plan and implement activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
