Job Summary

The Building Manager II Resident is responsible for representing the Commission in matters of resident relations and building management at the site(s). This role requires excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage resident interactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance and Appearance

• Maintain the order and appearance of common and public areas, including vacant dwellings.

• Perform minor maintenance duties throughout the site, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

2. Emergency Response

• Respond to emergency calls and notify appropriate authorities.

• Generate work orders for maintenance staff and external contractors.

3. Resident Relations

• Respond to resident enquiries, complaints, and emergencies.

• Provide information and clarification as required.

4. Administrative Tasks

• Coordinate, train, and assign work under the direction of the Building Manager Supervisor.

• Maintain and requisition inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Requirements

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building management and maintenance principles, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
