Job Title: Engineering Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead to join our team at Radio Canada International. As an Engineering Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to deploying technology infrastructure for our broadcasting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and management, to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science or Engineering, or a Diploma in Applied Science and Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to different locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Membership, or eligibility to become a member, of the provincial Engineering Association (PEO, OIQ, etc.).
  • Experience with SMPTE ST2110 standards, NRCS system, Camera Chain, Post Audio/Video editing tools, live graphics system including AR and VR.
  • Knowledge of integration and deployment of technologies across an organization, including web, virtualization, storage, security and networking principles.
