Sales and Marketing Manager

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth at the Fantasyland Hotel. This role will oversee the Sales department and work closely with the Director of Sales & Catering to achieve sales targets and increase utilization of the hotel's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase bookings and sales of the hotel's facilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead and motivate the Sales & Catering Team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Catering to manage sales activities and ensure alignment with hotel goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows and industry events to promote the hotel's services.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's products and services to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in hospitality, sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of previous related hotel/hospitality sales experience.
  • Proven ability to make sales presentations and possess strong public speaking skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, computer, and organizational skills.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and reliable transportation for in and out of town travel and sales calls.
  • This position qualifies for the 4-day workweek program.
  • This is a salaried position with a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance and provide a clean driver's abstract every year.
