Job Title: Metal Fabricator

MatrixHR is currently seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator for an exciting project located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a long-term, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with experience working with a variety of metals and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Must have a Red Seal Certification
  • Must be able to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada and have lived in Canada for 5 years
  • A pre-employment physical is required
  • Must be able to wear PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask
  • Must be able to work in Confined Spaces
  • Must be able to commute to work daily
Qualifications:
  • Full trade flexibility is required
  • You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job
  • A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit check will need to be completed
  • Full PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask
Certifications:
  • Fall Protection
  • WHMIS
  • Confined Space
  • JM Ticket

All suitable candidates will also be required to pass government clearance.
