Job Opportunity: Metal Fabricator

MatrixHR is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator for a long-term, full-time project in Halifax, NS. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a one-time travel pay and leave of absence benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Meet the requirements for Red Seal Certification.
  • Be eligible to work in Canada and have lived in Canada for 5 years.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and wear PPE, including a Fit Tested Respirator Mask.
  • Work in confined spaces and commute to work daily.
Requirements:
  • Full trade flexibility is required.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is mandatory.
  • A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit check will be completed.
  • Full PPE, including a Fit Tested Respirator Mask, is required.
Certifications:
  • Fall Protection.
  • WHMIS.
  • Confined Space.
  • JM Ticket.

All suitable candidates will be required to pass government clearance.
