- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential safety risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and develop strategies for improvement.
- Maintain Accurate Records and Reports
- Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by management and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Education and Certification
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
