Executive Project Director

We are a General Contractor based in Nanaimo, BC, seeking an experienced Executive Project Director to join our team. This role involves administrative project management with a high level of business acumen and attention to detail in documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet expectations
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports on project progress
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Identify and mitigate risks to project success
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a project manager
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/Technology, or equivalent industry experience
- Safety-focused with a proven safety work record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel
