Job Summary:

The Day Lodge Line Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation and enhancement of the quality of our guests' experience in the cafeteria. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and friendly service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Coordinate morning prep lists, front-line setup, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate organizational goals and policies to team members and ensure compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Conduct regular temperature and sanitizer log checks to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Implement risk management procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal standards and regulations related to equipment, safety, and OHS practices.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a food preparation role in a professional dining establishment.
  • Previous experience leading a line and ensuring food and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Food Safe or other food handling certification is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Mature, reliable, and presentable.
  • People management experience is an asset.
