Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Services Coordinator to join our team at Northern Society for Domestic Peace. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing the delivery of specific services within the community, providing suicide and crisis intervention, and conducting individual and group counselling sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
  • Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification
  • Mental health first aid Certificate
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
