About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Radiochemist/Scientist to join our team in Pickering or Kincardine, Ontario. As a key member of our Chemistry & Specialty Technology Business Line, you will play a critical role in developing and improving medical isotope technology and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with experts to design targets, optimize radiochemical separations, and implement manufacturing methods in hot cells.
  • Utilize our flexible accelerator technology to further develop and improve medical isotope technology.
  • Work closely with our team to tap into their expertise and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of medical isotope production topics, including target design, radiochemical separations, and manufacturing methods.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with subject matter experts in the nuclear power generation and medical isotope fields.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as radiochemistry or nuclear engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
