Position Overview: Project Coordinator at Paul Davis Sud Ouest

Paul Davis Sud Ouest is a comprehensive restoration service provider located in Quebec, actively looking for motivated and dynamic professionals to fill the role of Project Coordinator. While prior experience in the restoration sector is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the project superintendent with requests to guarantee timely, budget-compliant project completion as per contractual obligations.
  • Maintain daily communication with the superintendent to discuss project advancements, schedules, or estimate modifications.
  • Serve as a liaison between project managers and the restoration crew.
  • Organize appointments for specialized contractors and ensure competitive bids are secured.
  • Schedule and manage internal team and subcontractor working hours.
  • Develop and oversee project timelines, promptly communicating any adjustments to supervisors.
  • Ensure all essential project materials are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate post-reconstruction cleaning services on-site.
  • Work with the content department to ensure timely release of content for project initiation and prompt returns after final site cleaning.
  • Perform data entry and management using project management software such as RMS, Encircle, and Xactanalysis.
  • Facilitate the smooth flow of documentation within the office.
  • Comprehend the scope of work involved.
  • Conduct cost analysis as needed.
  • Availability for evening and weekend work may be required, including participation in an on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction or restoration industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Preferred certifications include IICRC (WRT, FSRT).
  • Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices and current building regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team or work independently.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with a capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to seeing projects through to successful completion.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Clean criminal record.
