Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Identify Infestations: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, including rodents, insects, and other pests.
- Determine Treatment Requirements: Based on the inspection findings, determine the type of treatment required to effectively eliminate the infestation.
- Prepare and Apply Chemical Mixtures: Prepare and spray chemical mixtures on infested areas to eliminate the pest population.
- Set Traps and Remove Animals: Place and set traps to capture and remove animals, and clean out areas that harbor pests.
- Advise Clients on Prevention: Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation and provide guidance on maintaining a pest-free environment.
- Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence: Must hold a valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence.
- Criminal Record Check: Must pass a criminal record check.
- Driver's Validity Licence Check: Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Vehicle Supplied by Employer: A vehicle will be supplied by the employer.
The Pest Control Technician will work on the road, visiting various locations to conduct inspections and treatments.
