We are seeking a qualified Dietary Aide/Food Server to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a Dietary Aide/Food Server, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portion and serve food and beverages in the dining room, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents.
  • Load hot wagons and deliver food to resident neighborhoods, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stock resident kitchens with essential items, such as paper products, snacks, beverages, and staple goods.
  • Prepare tables in dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our residents.
  • Prepare beverages and food items, such as tea, coffee, and toast, as well as assemble food items like sandwiches and salads.
  • Assist the Chef with portioning and service of meals for special and catered events, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and damp mopping floors, sanitizing countertops, sinks, machines, and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as answering the phone and documenting information on menu cards, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service, food service, or retail environment, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • FoodSafe Certification, demonstrating a commitment to food safety and quality.
  • Serving it Right Certification, ensuring a safe and responsible service environment.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector), with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Provide Immunization Records, ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption for an accommodation based on a reason related to human rights, demonstrating a commitment to the health and safety of our residents and staff.
