Position Overview
We are currently seeking part-time (0.40 FTE) Dietary Aides/Food Servers who are passionate about delivering outstanding service to our senior residents. Key Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
  • Serving meals and beverages in the dining area while ensuring all supplies are replenished as needed.
  • Transporting meals to various resident neighborhoods using hot food delivery carts.
  • Stocking kitchens within each neighborhood with essential items, including snacks and beverages.
  • Setting up dining areas prior to meal times, arranging items such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.
  • Preparing beverages and simple food items, including tea, coffee, and light snacks.
  • Assisting the Chef in meal preparation and service for special events.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in dining areas by performing tasks such as sweeping and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Carrying out clerical duties, including answering phones and documenting menu selections.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in customer service, food service, or a retail setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • FoodSafe Certification.
  • Serving it Right Certification.
  • A clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector).
  • Immunization Records.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or an approved exemption.

Compensation and Benefits
The wage for the Dietary Aide position is $16.75 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a voluntary retirement program with company contributions for eligible employees.
