Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Land and Donair. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting expectations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory is managed effectively to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
