About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanical Repair Specialist to join our team at SAIF MOTORS INC. as a Mechanical Technician. As an Automotive Systems Repairer, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and estimating parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and test them to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts and Components: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Estimate Parts and Labor Costs: Estimate the cost of parts and labor required to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Test and Adjust Units to Specifications: Test and adjust units to ensure they meet specifications and are functioning properly.
  • Advise Customers on Work Performed: Advise customers on the work performed and any future repair requirements.
  • Complete Reports to Record Problems and Work Performed: Complete reports to record problems and work performed on vehicles.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Dusty and noisy work site environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, judgment, reliability, and team player.
