Job Summary

SAIF MOTORS INC. is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and estimating parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose issues with automotive systems, including engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Perform repairs and replacements of parts and components, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Estimate Costs: Accurately estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust units to ensure they are functioning properly and meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Advise Customers: Provide customers with detailed information about work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete Reports: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including problems encountered and repairs made.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Area of Specialization: Engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, hydraulic system, fuel and emission system, automatic transmission, and auto body repair.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
