Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Kingsview Renovation, Flooring & Staircase Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience operating computerized or manual woodworking machines and be able to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines
  • Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Replace parts as required
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, a mask, and ear plugs.
