Job Title: Woodworking Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Kingsview Renovation, Flooring & Staircase Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Replace parts as required to ensure smooth operation
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate wood products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
