Job Title: Woodworking Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Kingsview Renovation, Flooring & Staircase Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating computerized and manual woodworking machines to fabricate and repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, program, and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to produce high-quality wood products.
  • Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure production meets quality and safety standards.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Replace parts as required to ensure smooth operation of machines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
