Job Summary

Sun Farm Produce (2007) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, professionalism, and a positive attitude when interacting with clients and customers.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell products over established routes, promoting our services and products to clients and customers.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Special Events: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure efficient delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold an Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

As a Delivery Driver with Sun Farm Produce (2007) Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with clients, customers, and colleagues. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support.
