Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MANITOBA INC O/A DAIRY QUEEN GRILL & CHILL GIMLI. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or related role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
