Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team at U-Haul. As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on our fleet of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices to ensure our vehicles are always in top condition.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
  • Driver's license required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn proprietary software.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required.
Work Environment
