Job Summary:

The Applicant Support Specialist is a key member of the Mintz Global Screening team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to applicants and clients. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service support to applicants and clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle and resolve technical issues related to applicant processing and background verification.
  • Document and track customer support requests using our customer support system.
  • Obtain and evaluate relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints.
  • Validate applicant information and ensure all required documents are attached to the customer's request/file.
  • Liaise with clients/applicants to ensure all necessary information is collected for background verification.
  • Evaluate and prioritize issues, handling them in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingualism in English and French (required).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-related role.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent typing ability.

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and French.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service.
