Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Load and unload trucks using a clamp truck, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Stack and store merchandise in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform inventory control activities, including counting and verifying stock, to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance on the forklift and clamp truck, adhering to safety inspection regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid forklift operator certification required.
  • Proven 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes required.
  • Basic math skills for inventory control purposes.
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with competitive pay rates and opportunities for advancement. The schedule includes afternoon and night shifts, with a shift premium of $20.00 per hour.
