At AIRROAD XPRESS INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Over-the-Road Trucking Professional to join our team. As an essential member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who can work independently and as part of a two-person team or convoy. You will be responsible for driving straight or articulated trucks, loading and unloading goods, performing emergency roadside repairs, and conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of your vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate trucks according to company policies and regulations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on your truck, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Communication: Receive and relay important information to central dispatch, maintaining open communication channels throughout your journey.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have relevant experience in over-the-road trucking. Additionally, you should be comfortable working long hours (50-60 hours per week), including evenings and weekends.
