Truck Driver

At Daytona Freight Systems Inc., we are seeking a skilled Class 1 driver to join our team as a long haul truck driver. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload goods, overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Valid passport, criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and driving record check (abstract).
- Ability to handle heavy loads, physically demanding work, and attention to detail.
