Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at The Hotel At Falcon Lake. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the size of food portions and costs to optimize menu offerings and minimize waste.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory and ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and preferences.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Organize buffets and banquets to ensure efficient service and exceptional guest experience.
- Perform short order cooking and food preparation to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Availability for shift or on-call work to meet the needs of our guests and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Previous experience in the culinary industry, with a focus on food preparation and kitchen operations.
