We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Mainframe Platform Security Programmer Analyst to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our mainframe platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and implementation of secure mainframe platform solutions
- Analyze and document business needs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides for developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement development strategies and tests
- Design and implement robust and stable solutions for all requests
- Make connections between business needs and technological requirements
- Understand current processes and establish target processes by working closely with multiple stakeholders
- Produce functional analyses and participate in the realization of assessments of new needs
- Familiarize yourself with processes and propose improvements
- Supervise other resources in the context of the implementation of projects or evolving requests
Your Team:
Our IT team is comprised of over 2,300 proactive and collaborative experts who work with agility to seize opportunities and stay on the cutting edge of technology. As part of the Mainframe Platform team, you will be part of a team of 15 colleagues and report to the Senior Director Mainframe Platform.

Tools such as the Data Academy, language training, Harvard Manage Mentor, coaching, and mentoring support are always available.
Prerequisites:
- Industry-related university degree or other degree and several years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of the Mainframe platform
- Advanced knowledge of Mainframe platform security (ACF2 or RACF)
- Experience in mainframe platform modernization
- Demonstrated experience in business, functional, technical and application analysis in a complex organization
- Hands-on experience with Agile development and delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Experience in solution integration and/or maintenance
- Experience in banking and/or finance, an asset
- Strong communication skills
