Job Summary

Zim Recycling is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Director to lead our sales team in building relationships with business clients and managing negotiations of sales contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure the sales team is meeting its targets
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize sales operations
  • Work closely with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  • Determine strategic planning related to new product lines to drive business growth
  • Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Lead the sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts to drive revenue growth
  • Organize regional and divisional sales operations to ensure seamless execution
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of sales departments in commercial, industrial, wholesale, and retail establishments
  • Recruit, organize, train, and manage staff to ensure the sales team is equipped to meet its targets
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, interpersonal awareness, and team player
Benefits:

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
