About the Role:

CN is seeking a skilled Fleet Management Garage professional to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing minor and major repairs, servicing, and upfitting on all types of vehicles, including cars, light trucks, medium/heavy trucks, and truck trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including mounted vehicle attachments and material handling equipment.

Use electric and oxy-acetylene welding equipment, and other vehicle repair tools to perform repairs.

Record details on prescribed forms in accordance with established procedures.

Work in-shop, outside, and at field locations as required, with variable shifts to accommodate vehicle availability.

Requirements:

Must be in possession of a valid Provincial Department of Labor Journeyman Certificate in the Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport Mechanical Repair Trade.

Must be able to pass the current Mechanic "A" test.

Must have at least five years' experience in the Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport repair trade.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a shop environment, with occasional outside work at terminals and in the field. Prolonged stay away from home may be required when performing fieldwork.
