Overview

KPMG in Canada offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals to join our Corporate Finance team as a Transaction Support Specialist. As part of our Deal Advisory Services group, you will be working on a wide range of transactions involving mid-market companies.

Job Description

In this role, you will apply your analytical and technical skills to conduct financial and valuation analyses, develop complex financial models, and assist in identifying potential acquisition targets and investors. You will also communicate directly with clients, other advisors, and counterparties, and contribute to the preparation and distribution of confidential information memorandums and other key documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A successful candidate will have completed or intend to complete the CPA examination process.
  • Strong interest in developing expertise related to valuation concepts and techniques, with enrollment in the CBV program expected (if not already complete).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, writing, and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply new knowledge in the preparation of creative and bespoke client deliverables.

Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
