Job Title: Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team at J.B DHILLON BROS LTD. As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in long haul trucking
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
