Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Alberta Cover All Drywall Inc. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for installing and fabricating metal studs and drywall for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and clean and prepare surfaces
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliability, teamwork, and flexibility
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a 30-40 hour workweek. The primary language of work is English.
