Job Description for Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Active Homes. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in accordance with building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 hours per week
