Head Chef at The Plate

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at The Plate. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure profitability.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to order.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A valid food safety certification.
- A competitive salary of $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
