Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Leggat Pontiac Buick Cadillac Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and execute plans to expand our pre-owned leasing portfolio, manage lease transactions, and maintain relationships with fleet accounts.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor direct reports to achieve success and contribute to overall dealership results.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our pre-owned leasing business, including inventory control, credit risk management, and sales growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and recommend strategies to expand our fleet business, particularly in the GTA, and build out the sales team.
  • Program Development: Create a comprehensive pre-owned vehicle leasing program aligned with our 12 dealerships, including interest rate and residual risk management, sourcing, and marketing.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage a budget for the pre-owned leasing business segment.
  • Networking: Establish relationships with existing and potential supplying dealers to source available pre-owned product and seize re-marketing and/or re-lease opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of automotive management experience, with a proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, understanding of inventory control, strong computer and phone skills, professional appearance and work ethic, and a valid driver's license and OMVIC license.
