- Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment by cleaning and organizing daycare equipment.
- Engage children in storytelling, singing, and other activities that foster creativity and imagination.
- Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate with parents through regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Assist early childhood educators in record-keeping and program planning.
- Encourage children to express themselves through art, music, and physical activity.
- Plan and lead activities that promote social skills, emotional intelligence, and cognitive development.
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive environment that respects the diversity of our children and families.
- College, CEGEP, or equivalent certificate or diploma.
- 1-7 months of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations and child development principles.
- Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
