Job Title: Board Production Operator (2 Line)

CGC Inc. is a leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of gypsum wallboard products, interior finishing material and suspended acoustical ceilings. With locations around the world, CGC and USG have the resources, plants, products and people to build walls, ceilings and careers.

We are currently recruiting for a Board Production Operator (2 Line) for our gypsum plant, based in Hagersville, Ontario. This is a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain production levels, participate in a team environment and work in a manufacturing environment in the safest, most efficient and profitable manner as possible.
  • Assist in the implementation of USG Model Programs, Safety Rules, VWIs/JSAs and Standard Operating Procedures, as required.
  • Exercise personal safety, promote and enforce safety among crew members.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in a manufacturing/mining environment preferred
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
