Recruiting Specialist with Talent Acquisition Expertise

About the Role:
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those looking to kickstart their career in recruitment. As a Recruiter, you will manage the entire hiring process for health care providers and internal staff. You will use both traditional and innovative methods to find the best candidates, ensuring we have the right people to support our patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify potential job candidates through various channels
- Conduct phone screenings to assess qualifications and fit
- Schedule and conduct interviews with hiring managers to ensure effective talent acquisition
- Make informed hiring recommendations based on candidate skills and experience
- Perform thorough reference and background checks to verify candidate credentials
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to expand the candidate pool
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings
- Provide regular updates on the recruitment process to candidates and internal teams
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records
- Excellent time management and attention to detail to meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to achieving goals
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Good decision-making skills to ensure effective talent acquisition decisions
Qualifications:
- College or university degree preferred, or at least two years of customer service experience
- HR experience is an asset
- Bilingual in French (oral and written) is an asset
- Proficiency in using computers, the internet, Microsoft Office, and electronic spreadsheets is required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated Salary: $20-$22 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
