Salary Information
This position offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The estimated salary range for this role is $56,000 - $60,400 CAD per year, based on 40 hours of work per week.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, relocating, repairing, and maintaining digital Photo Enforcement solutions for municipal Public Safety programs.
The technician must ensure equipment meets strict standards related to uptime and performance.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, responding to time-sensitive requests, and identifying system performance problems related to equipment configurations, vandalism, environmental factors, or other factors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The preferred candidate has a two-to-three year college program completion (electronics, engineering, or computer science) or related work experience of 3+ years.
Experience in digital photography, network installation, and computer technology is required.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong multi-tasking abilities, and effective organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also necessary.

Physical Requirements
The following physical demands are representative of what a field technician may encounter in the field:
- Primarily involved with field work on roadside sites involving long-term standing and repetitive motions.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Use hands to handle, finger, or feel; reach, climb, or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit.
- Frequent ladder use is required with the ability to climb, descend, balance, and work safely at heights.
- Ability to see including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth vision, and focus.
- No limitations that would reduce the ability to drive a vehicle safely to job sites.
- Lift and maneuver awkward equipment up to 75 pounds from a vehicle and ground.
