Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. This role is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving activities, ensuring a safe and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Prepare and ensure accuracy of shipping documents, ensure trailers are suitable for loading, and communicate with shunt truck drivers to organize trailers and docks.
  • Load Organization: Organize loads to meet schedule, assist the Shipping Foreman with load priorities, and work with TMS, ITS, WMS, and SAP systems.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other departments, be the communication point with carriers, and communicate problems to Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership skills, be willing to progress in a leadership role, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Skills: Good computer skills, proficiency in MS office suite, experience in SAP, WMS, and TMS will be considered an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organizational skills, highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude, and a team player with excellent attendance.
