Job Title: Shipper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shipper to join our team at McCain Foods in Florenceville-Bristol, NB. As a Shipper, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our Transportation Management System (TMS). You will work closely with the Shipping Supervisor to maintain a safe and productive environment, and have opportunities for growth and leadership development within the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with shunt truck drivers to organize trailers and docks, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of goods.
  • Work with TMS, ITS, WMS, and SAP systems to manage inventory, track shipments, and optimize logistics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Communicate with carriers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, or relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse setting, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
