We are seeking a skilled Site Management Professional to oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction sites.

About Canbuild Development Ltd

Canbuild Development Ltd is a leading construction company that prides itself on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees, contractors, and stakeholders.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

This is a permanent full-time position, with 30 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to travel to various construction sites throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare production and other reports to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to develop the skills of junior staff members.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance the skills of staff members.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Recommend personnel actions to improve team performance.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in site management or a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliability and ability to work under pressure.
