Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annumThis is a permanent full-time position, with 30 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to travel to various construction sites throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare production and other reports to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee apprenticeship training to develop the skills of junior staff members.
- Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
- Train or arrange for training to enhance the skills of staff members.
- Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Recommend personnel actions to improve team performance.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
- Degree in Construction Management or related field.
- 2 years of experience in site management or a related field.
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
- Excellent oral communication and organizational skills.
- Reliability and ability to work under pressure.
- Competitive salary range ($60,000 - $80,000 per annum).
