Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Neepawa Freshmart. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management
- Direct and control daily store operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily store operations to meet business objectives.
- Staff Management
- Manage and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Market Research and Analysis
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Analyze the impact of competitors' operations on sales and develop strategies to maintain market share.
- Financial Management
- Plan and manage store budgets to ensure that expenses are controlled and revenues are maximized.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or store management role.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail. They will be required to work a 35-hour workweek and may be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
